A/N: Phew, I thought this would never be finished... I hope chapter 7 will be finished faster, but I'm not sure, since I'm going to England and stuff, then I'll go back to school...

Thursday came fast. It was a good thing actually, because after thursday came Friday and then the weekend. And Casimiro, Nick and Elisabeth had planned to go see a movie called "All day, every day". Elisabeth had no idea what it was about, but apparently Casimiro had read a few reviews that had given the movie 4 of 5 stars. So guess it was good.

Some cheerleaders walked by Elisabeth when she was waiting for Casimiro at the school yard. She stared longingly after them. No matter what had happened back then, she still missed wearing a cheerleader uniform. It had made Elisabeth feel like she actually was a part of something, like she was a part of glee. Elisabeth was tempted to go to Quinn Hudson and ask her if there was an open place for her. But she never did, because she was still afraid. What if they would put her on top of the pyramid and she'd fall again? Though Quinn had said that if Elisabeth joined, she wouldn't have to be on top if she didn't want to.

"What are you thinking?" Elisabeth was startled at the sudden question asked by Casimiro, who had appeared behind her with his boyfriend Nick and friend Chase. "Nothing, just a bit nervous of the sectionals", she quickly made up and Casimiro raised an eyebrow. "But there's still a few weeks to go", he said. "Now tell us, what is wrong?" Elisabeth sighed. Guess she had no other choice. "As you know, I was a cheerleader at my old school in New York. I loved it- but then I fell from on top of the pyramid. But now I miss being a cheerleader", she explained. Chase patted her shoulder and said: "You know, you shouldn't let your fears hold you down, girl! You only live once, so take this chance!" Casimiro and Nick nodded in agreement and Elisabeth smiled. "Thanks, Chase. Maybe I'll go talk to mrs Hudson."

And she did. "So, are you sure you want to join Cheerios?" Quinn asked, not believing what she had heard. Elisabeth nodded, trying to look just as sure as only possible. "When can I audition?" she asked and Quinn laughed. "No, no auditions. I know you are a very good cheerleader, as I've seen you doing it." Elisabeth's face brightened and she almost jumped up. "Thanks, Quinn! You're the best", she said and moved over to hug the other. "You're welcome. It's a very good thing that you're ready to face what you've been afraid of, Elis. I'm proud of you."

Later at glee club, just as expected, Evelyn had something to say about Elisabeth joining Cheerios. "How come did mrs Hudson take you in without an audition? Because I'm pretty sure you suck", she said with a mean grin on her face. "Well, I was the captain of cheerleaders in my old school, so I don't think I suck that badly", Elisabeth stroke back, and this time Evelyn was speechless, but looked very, very pissed. Elisabeth smiled and went to sit in between of Lorraine and Casimiro. "So, who's turn is it today?" asked mr Evans when he walked into the class. A girl with short dark hair raised her hand. "Mine." The girl, Eva Foster was her name, stood up and walked in front of the class. "I have some Spanish blood in me, so decided to sing Americano by Lady Gaga." Mr Evan smiled and nodded. The music started playing and Eva sang: "I met a girl in East LA, in floral shorts - as sweet as May... She sang in eights in two Barrio chords. We fell in love, but not in court..." There was a little pause. And then. "La-la-la-la-la-la! La-la-la-la-la-la! La-la-la-la-la-la! La-la-la-la-la-la! La-la-la-la-la-la!" Wow, Elisabeth thought. Wow. "I don't s- I don't s- Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, America, Americano! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, America, Americano! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, America, Americano! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, America, Americano!" Eva was even dancing, and Elisabeth was amazed how good she could sing at the same time when she was moving so fast. "Mis canciones son de la revolución. Mi corazón me duele por mi generación", Eva sang. "If you love me, we can marry on the West Coast, on a Wednesday, en un verano, en agosto..." The song was quite old- but freaking catchy. Elisabeth remembered how she used to love it when she was a little child. "I don't speak your, I don't speak your language oh no (La-la-la-la-la-la)I don't speak your, I won't speak your Jesus Christo (La-la-la-la-la-la)!" The other club members started singing along, because who could resist? "Ahhhhh America Americano, ahhhhh America Americano, ahhhhh America Americano, ahhhhh America Americano!" The outro of the song was by far Elisabeth's favourite part of the whole song. "Don't you try and catch me, don't you try and catch me, no! No! No! No! I'm living on the edge of, living on the edge of the law, law, law, law!" The club cheered and mr Evans clapped his hands and laughed. "Wow, Eva! That was great! But now, back to work- we still have to practice our number for sectionals!"

Elisabeth sighed as she climbed into Kurt's car after school. "So, anything happened today?" Kurt asked and smiled at his adoptive daughter. "Well, actually yes. I decided to join Cheerios", Elisabeth answered and Kurt's mouth fell open in surprise. "Really? That's great!" Elisabeth laughed, but in her mind she thought: I hope I won't have to regret it. "Oh, and what's up with you? You seem extraordinary happy today", Elisabeth said, looking at Kurt. "I got a job as a waiter. Now I don't have to just stay at home", he said. Elisabeth smiled, but she knew that Kurt really missed Broadway and she really hoped that someday they would be able to move back to New York.
